As 2017 draws to a close and we all undertake last minute preparations for the festive period, we reflect on a busy year.
The Quaife offices and factories alike have been a hive of activity this year. Like many of you will appreciate, the last 12 months seem to have flown by in the blink of an eye, it not seeming long ago since we were last all sporting our Christmas jumpers and indulging in the odd mince pie.
There have been a number of notable highlights during the year. July saw us begin despatching our signature ATB Differential to Ford for use in their mighty Focus RS Edition. Indeed, our Gillingham manufacturing hub has been busy despatching them ever since. It has been particularly exciting reading all the positive reviews from the wider automotive press; journalists highlighting how the ATB has transformed the RS for the better.
Meanwhile, the VAG world has seen the introduction of the Quaife QKE6V 5-Speed Sequential Gearkit. Suitable for VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat vehicles fitted with the firm’s 02M and 02Q transmission range, this new member of our expanding FWD sequential family caters for a long list of compatible vehicles. Developed alongside and sold exclusively though VAG specialists TSR Performance, demand so far has been impressive. We expect this to continue as more enthusiasts become aware of this performance enhancing product.
New ATB Differential applications this year have catered for vehicles as diverse as the Alfa Romeo 1600 GTV, Audi A1 1.4 TSi 7-Speed DSG, Mercedes C36 AMG, Peugeot 406 Coupe and Fiat Ducato X244.
And what of the future?
2018 is set to be an exciting year for Quaife, as new products are added to our extensive portfolio, many of which we have been working on over recent months. We recommend keeping an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages for the latest news and developments.
