CNC Vertical Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator

We are looking for an experienced, preferably time served, CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator for our vertical machining centres based predominantly at our Sevenoaks site.

The applicant should be fully conversant in Fanuc and be capable of programming and setting a part from drawing. A good knowledge of fixture design and work holding is required, as the majority of jobs are recurring, and need to be ”operator friendly”.

An excellent understanding of materials, tooling, cutting speeds and feeds is essential, as is the ability to work efficiently and to close tolerances.

Site Janitor

We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as our Gillingham Site Janitor. The ideal candidate for this position should be detail oriented, flexible and willing to take on all tasks as the need arises. The Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitising offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, the canteen, plus the general up-keep of the shop floor; keeping it clean, tidy and free from debris.

The job role will consist of, but is not limited to;

  • General cleaning in and around the building as directed.
  • Manage routine up-keep of the exterior areas such as the yard and car park.
  • Remove rubbish and recycling daily and prepare the bins for collection.
  • Handle emergency cleaning and up-keep requests.
  • Ensure the canteen, washing area and toilets are maintained and fully equipped.

Whilst previous experience would be an advantage, on the job training will be provided. You will need to work well under minimum supervision – a cleaning schedule will be provided. You will also on occasions be expected to use your initiative should an issue arise. A current forklift competency certificate would also be an advantage.

Yard Person

We are currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as our Sevenoaks Yard Person. The ideal candidate for this position should be detail oriented, flexible and willing to take on all tasks as the need arises. The applicant will be mainly  responsible for setting and operating our two programmable band saws to cut bar into billets prior to machining, using a fork lift truck to unload raw material when delivered and to load this onto the corresponding racking, plus the general upkeep of the yard, ensuring it is clean and tidy at all times. They will also be responsible for handling the stock control of the materials and ensuring the correct grade of material is identified using our colour coding system.

Whilst previous experience would be an advantage, on the job training will be given. You will need to work well under minimum supervision. Although a sawing schedule will be provided, you will also on occasions be expected to use your initiative should an issue arise. A current forklift competency certificate would also be a distinct advantage.
