Stores Assistant
Salary: TBC
Hours: 08:00 – 16:30 M-T / 08:00 – 15:30 F
Overtime: 07:00 – 08:00 / 16:30 – 17:00 M-T Paid 1.5X Hourly Rate
Due to our growing order book, we are expanding our stores team and require a reliable self-motivated individual to join our team, based at our Sevenoaks site. Whether you have previous experience in a similar role or transferable skills from another industry, we promise to give you training, ongoing support and development so that you can act within the company’s best interest.
The main roles of the successful candidate will be:
- Correctly picking stock against despatch notes/ works orders.
- Checking/putting away deliveries from suppliers.
- Checking/putting away products received from the factory.
- Carrying out stock level checks.
- Liaising with Sales Office/Factory/Fitting/Despatch.
- Assisting with packing, despatch when required.
- Processing Works Orders on computer / sending, receiving emails.
- Placing orders for bought outs.
- General housekeeping / tidiness.
Desired Experience / skills:
- Experience in a previous stock handling role.
- Experience working with IT equipment. (Microsoft Programmes, MRP)
- Good Communication Skills. (Phone & Email)
Experience in these fields would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
