RT Quaife Engineering Ltd is a well-established engineering company based in Kent, which has been trading for over 50 years. We specialise in providing powertrain solutions to the motorsport industry, and control the entire process from design to manufacture in-house. We have modern facilities with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure we are always at the forefront of our field.
Due to our growing order book, we are expanding our customer service team and require an experienced service advisor to join our team, based at our Sevenoaks site.

The Service Advisor position is vital to our organisation; you will be the first face and voice our customer will hear and meet. You will live and breathe our values and ensure that our customers receive excellent customer service, whether that be from resolving their queries or processing their orders.
Whether you have previous experience in a similar role or transferable skills from another industry, we promise to give you training, ongoing support and development so that you can act within your customer’s best interest.
The main roles of the successful candidate will be:
- Liaising with customers when they require servicing on gearboxes and differentials via email and phone.
- Booking the product and service onto the system (understanding what the customer requires and understanding any potential faults).
- Working with our engineers to report back findings to the customer and report on what parts require replacing.
- Using our MRP system to see when the parts are due in and reporting this back to the customer.
- Answering any service or technical enquires we receive.
- Taking customers’ payments and ensuring monies have been received.
- Answering incoming phone calls (service & technical).
- Answering customer e-mails (service & technical).
- Dealing with customers face to face when they are met on site.
- Representing Quaife at shows when required.
- Knowledge of transmission and drive train components.
- A general knowledge of car mechanics.
- Experience in a previous service advisor role.
Experience in these fields would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.

Skilled CNC machinists for both the turning and milling sections who are able to program, set and operate FANUC controlled machining centres.
For these roles, candidates would have preferably completed a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or have completed at least four years training within the industry and are fully conversant in FANUC or a similar G-code based system.
An excellent understanding of materials, tooling, cutting speeds and feed is essential to these roles, as is the ability to work efficiently and to close tolerances from an engineering drawing.
General machine operators to support the above.
Experience in an engineering environment is preferable but not essential as training will be given on site, however the ability to work logically and efficiently is required as successful candidates will have specific time and quantity targets to achieve.
We can offer a competitive salary, based on experience, plus 29 days annual leave inclusive of bank and public holidays.
