CNC Machinist
We are currently seeking Skilled CNC Machinists for both our Turning and Milling sections, with roles available at our Sevenoaks and Gillingham sites.
Role Responsibilities
- Programming, setting, and operating FANUC controlled CNC machining centres.
- Manufacturing high precision components to tight tolerances.
- Working efficiently from detailed engineering drawings.
- Selecting appropriate materials, tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds.
Candidate Requirements
- Completion of a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or a minimum of four years’ industry experience.
- Fully conversant with FANUC or a similar G code based control system.
- Excellent understanding of materials, tooling, and cutting parameters.
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently to close tolerances.

Motorsport Customer Adviser
Location
Sevenoaks, Kent (Office-based)
Job Purpose
To deliver exceptional customer service to motorsport clients by acting as the primary point of contact for enquiries, orders, and technical guidance, ensuring a smooth and professional customer experience from initial enquiry through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone, email, and online platforms
- Provide advice and guidance on motorsport products, services, and technical queries
- Process customer orders, quotations, and updates accurately
- Manage orders from enquiry through to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met
- Liaise with internal departments (engineering, production, stores) to resolve queries and issues
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems
- Support inbound sales activity and identify up-selling opportunities where appropriate
- Assist with administrative tasks including order tracking, invoicing, and reporting
- Deliver consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or advisor role (automotive or motorsport preferred)
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and face-to-face)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment
- Confident handling multiple tasks and prioritising workloads
- IT literate (Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP systems preferred)
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Knowledge or passion for motorsport / automotive engineering (highly desirable)

Race Car Build Technician
RT Quaife Engineering Ltd is a well-established engineering company based in Kent, which has been trading for over 50 years. We specialise in providing powertrain solutions to the motorsport industry, and control the entire process from design to manufacture in-house. We have modern facilities with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure we are always at the forefront of our field.
The aim with this new project is to go to a whole new level, we want to prove that we can build one of the fastest two seater cars in the world. The car has been in design for the last 3 years and every part has been meticulously designed in house. There have been countless hours of development that have gone into all aspects of the design alone. Full Analysis has taken place to ensure each component is as light as possible while still retaining the required strength for the loads we are expecting to see. A huge percentage of the parts of the car are custom and one off including the chassis, uprights, gearbox, engine, wheel bearings, wheels, hubs, exhaust, inlet, coolers, suspension, body… the list goes on.
The car will be run initially in the UK Time Attack.
The UK Time Attack is one of the least regulated championships giving us the ability to design and develop the ultimate car with no limitations.
The basic spec of the car is as follows:
Engine – Bespoke Twin turbo Hartly V8 with over 900bhp
Electronics – Full Motec control of engine and multiple sensors on the car including, brake temps, tyre temps, damper pots etc.
Transmission – Structural 6 speed paddleshift Quaife transaxle through Pankl driveshafts
Suspension – Multimatic 5 way adjustable dampers
Brakes – Full carbon/carbon bespoke from Brembo
Body – 15CDV6 tubular chassis with full carbon body and integrated front and rear crash boxes
Uprights – Full billet aluminium lithium uprights with custom ceramic bearings
Aero – Full aero with over 3000kgs of downforce
Wheels – custom OZ Racing
We want this car to showcase what we can achieve. We have always been known as a company that manufactures products for clubman to semi-professional drivers and we want to show the world that we can do much more. The car may end up going to other parts of the world for events once running.
The car will be built in a new building specifically built for this project. The successful candidate will be required be able to use their previous experience to build and develop the car.
Role will include:
• General maintenance of company development vehicles
• Full build and prep of car
• Removal and installation of gearboxes
• Supervise and carry out full car preparation, set up/set downs
• Work with engineers and carry out setup changes
• Trackside support
• Keeping a record of all car parts life number for each event (working to supplied life build sheets)
Experience & Capabilities:
• Minimum of 10 years previous experience in motorsport is essential
• Basic fabrication and machining skills are preferable but not essential

• Able to work under their own initiative when necessary
• Have a proactivem ‘can do’, attitude and proactively support others
• Complete tasks given within agreed time frames
