Quaife Winter 2014 e-Newsletter 6th January 2014

Firstly we would like begin by wishing all of Quaife’s customers and suppliers a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2014. And what better way to begin the New Year than by enjoying the annual Autosport International Show, where Quaife’s Directors and Technical Sales team invite you to visit stand 8500 to discover how we can give your motorsport program a competitive edge.

Hosted at the NEC, Birmingham from the 9th – 12th January 2014, Quaife will be debuting an impressive and diverse range of new launches that serves to strengthen the firm’s extensive product portfolio and highlights the company’s status as the defining authority in high performance automotive drivetrain solutions since 1965.

Arguably the most exciting of Quaife’s revised 2014 range is a 5-speed sequential gearkit for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4-9 models. Designed to offer ultra-rapid gearshifts whilst retaining the original gearbox casing to reduce cost and improve packaging, the unit features an uprated geartrain and a bespoke replacement tailcase that houses a state of the art Quaife sequential shift mechanism.

Quaife will also unveil the pre-production version of a sequential gearkit for the latest 1.6-litre engined version of the Lotus Elise, which offers six closely stacked gears and a large choice of motorsport suited ratios, yet is cleverly designed to re-use the original Toyota EC60 gearbox maincase.

Switching to the ever popular Ford marque, the production version of Quaife’s QKE38Z Ford IB5 sequential gearkit for Fiesta, Focus and Ka models will be displayed, as will the latest version of the innovative QBM1M in-line 4-speed sequential transmission which incorporates a drop gear package that allows easy fine tuning for competition use. At the opposite end of the Ford spectrum, Quaife’s impressive and Pike’s Peak-proven RS200 six-speed sequential transmission (part number QBD3X) is sure to attract interest, with a new set of helical ratios being launched for the unit as part of the 2014 line-up.

All this and more will be included inside Quaife’s 2014 product catalogue, which will be launched at 11.30am on Thursday 9th January. Quaife welcomes you to visit the stand to collect your print copy, or alternatively the fully downloadable PDF version will be available soon at www.quaife.co.uk , as will extensive technical details on the new additions to Quaife’s 2014 product range.

So for advice on product selection, or to discuss your specific individual requirements for fast road, trackday, rally or race transmission products from Quaife Engineering, we look forward to seeing you in Birmingham later this week.
