For the 2014 Autosport International Show, Quaife is delighted to unveil a high performance five-speed sequential gearkit incorporating the latest Quaife selection technology to deliver ultra-rapid gearshifts in a robust, affordable, easy to install package for Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 4-9 owners.
Carrying part number QKE6U, the gearkit is a direct replacement for the factory ‘H’-pattern transmission and re-utilizes the original Mitsubishi bellhousing, with the addition of a bespoke cast tail case containing a state of the art sequential shift mechanism operated by a new design of Quaife gear lever.
QKE6U’s heavy-duty internals incorporate wider than standard REM ISF® super finished gears featuring the latest open face dog engagement design with larger dog rings and straight cut FIA homologated Group N ratios. Quaife’s adoption of a gear form design already proven in high-powered Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution applications, QKE6U offers reliable, precise, fast shifts with intermediate and final drive ratios specifically selected to optimise performance for track day and competition use.
Developed and tested in close conjunction with Japanese automotive performance specialist Momentum Motorsport of Northern Ireland, key technical features of the Quaife QKE6U five-speed Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution sequential gearkit include:-
