Quaife is proud to announce the release of the QKE10J 6-speed sequential gearkit for the latest Honda Civic Type-R. The kit is a direct fit to the stock bell housing converting the standard H-pattern transmission to a fast sequential shifting gearbox ready for your performance car.
This new sequential gear kit is the follow up to the highly successful and popular QKE8J for the EP3 and FN2 Civic variants. As with our other sequential conversion kits, the QKE10J is based on our motorsport proven sequential design to provide a reliable, fast, drum operated gear change that is impossible to mis-shift. The gear-kit allows for a direct upgrade from the stock gearbox to a sequential set up with the use of the stock clutch,drive-shafts and differential. Although we now offer the QDF20U which is our new ATB differential upgrade for the Honda Civic FK2 Type R.
The design includes additional bearing supports between the 4th and 5th gear to strengthen the shaft making a more efficient and robust gearbox better suited to racing and rally use. Alongside the straight cut gear, a helical option is available for road and track day use.
QKE10J comes with the choice of two different straight cut gear ratio sets as well as the option for a helical option for road applications:

Also available, the new Quaife ATB Helical LSD for the new Honda Civic Type R FK2 is a direct replacement for the standard Honda differential. The Quaife ATB differential transforms your car’s performance. Unlike a conventional plate-style limited slip differential, the Quaife ATB differential relies on gears rather than clutch plates for its operation. That means it is a much smoother in operation.
