QBE87G

By utilising the very latest dog engagement tooth profiles for the QBE87G we have produced a 4x4 6 speed sequential unit based on the MT75 design which allows ultra rapid gear changes. Not only does this offer users a choice of gear lever locations, but also the option to upgrade to a state of the art closed loop, pneumatically operated semi automatic paddle shift system.

The new box incorporates a new intergral in-line transfer assembly along with a Quaife ATB differential as standard.   

The result of this careful design work is a competitively priced new 4x4 gearbox. Quaife’s popular digital gear position indicator is also directly compatible with the new QBE87G, and is available as an optional extra.

Incorporating the lessons learnt on the popular QBE69G unit, the new QBE87G also utilises 90mm shaft centres and larger gears to maximise strength, with a well proven modular six speed gear cluster layout.

Initially the QBE87G 4x4 gearbox will be offered with a bellhousing for the RS500 as standard with other ‘hybrid’ bellhousings being modified to other applications by Quaife to order. Various input shaft options are also available from Quaife on request to suit the customers requirements, see technical specifications.
