This includes popular entry-level VAG group hatches such as the Polo GTi, Lupo GTi and the SEAT Arosa Sport 1.4 16-valve.

How will a Quaife ATB differential improve the performance of any VAG car fitted with a 02T gearbox?
The Quaife automatic torque biasing (ATB) helical gear limited slip differential is a unique, patented traction-enhancing product, which has been manufactured continuously since the 1980s. It’s designed to improve all round vehicle performance by preventing the loss of traction that occurs with an ‘open’ factory differential when one wheel slips and loses drive. In this situation the Quaife ATB seamlessly biases engine torque to the wheel with the most grip, smoothly and without locking.
Fitting a Quaife ATB differential to a car with an 02T gearbox (particularly on highly tuned applications) will reduce wheelspin and understeer on the exit and entry of corners, without the harsh torque steer associated with traditional plate style limited slip units.
Similar benefits will be experienced during heavy braking, where the Quaife ATB will bias any loss of drive away from the locking wheel, helping drivers to brake later and harder than with the original VW factory differential.
