Quaife Transaxle 6-Speed Sequential gearbox

Quaife Transaxle 6-speed sequential gearbox is new-for-2008, and represents a modern and cost-effective plug-and-play solution for Porsche users seeking to upgrade their 996 cars to a sequential gearbox, for fast road, track day or race use.

This gearbox is the result of extensive testing and development and the QBE61G fits into the same dimensional envelope as the original Porsche transmission, yet with many advantages. 85mm shaft centres accommodate high power outputs; the latest dog design and selection mechanism allows for ultra fast gear shifts, and a hypoid crownwheel and pinion system is utilised for the ultimate in strength and consistency. An internal oil pump is fitted to ensure optimal lubrication at all times.

Weighing approximately 75 kilos, the QBE61G features a choice of either straight cut or helical gears, with options of either a Quaife ATB differential or a plate style unit. Additionally, a bespoke gear lever and cable, plus a digital gear position indicator are recommended.
