Ford Sierra (Type 9) 6-speed overdrive sequential dog engagement gearbox with alloy maincase

Ford Sierra (Type 9) 6-speed overdrive sequential dog engagement Quaife gearbox with alloy maincase and gear lever is available as a direct replacement for the standard Ford Type 9 gearbox. As such, no modifications are required to the transmission tunnel to enable the unit to fit.

This gearbox uses the latest four dog open face design, with a compact drum design sequential mechanism for faster gear shifts and straight cut gears.

Ford Sierra (Type 9) sequential 6-speed dog engagement helical Quaife gearbox is only available with an alloy maincase and gear lever.

A choice of input shaft lengths and optional forward or rearward gear lever positions, provide more clearance to allow for Westfield type installations.

The Quaife digital gear position indicator is a recommended option.

The maximum power rating for this gearbox is 250bhp and 220lb/ft of torque.
