My local BMW specialist, SouthernBM, sourced a Quaife LSD with 3.46 ratios from you and put it on my BMW 135 manual, which comes stock as
3.08 final drive from BMW. It was a slightly complicated procedure and very expensive since a new tailshaft had to be sourced from BMW because of the different styles of connections between manual and automatics....or something like that anyway. However, the car is now transformed. It feels so planted now in the corners, and is quick and true off the line. It is also much more confidence inspiring when I am trying to be "naughty". The e-LSD the car comes with is a joke in comparison. So thank you Quaife! Keep up your good work. I'm off to wipe the smile off the next smug M3 owner.
